We have tried many things here! The favorites are the chow mein and the momos! Had the jhol Momo and steamed and fried. Have yet to try the chili Momo. Everything is super flavorful with heat!!! Doesn't disappointment and I've eaten more chatpate than I care to admit! If you've never had the puffed rice, crispy goodness do try!!! Soooooo good !
Do yourself a favor and order the chicken fried momo. It is beyond incredible. The chicken steamed momos are delicious as well.
It was my Birthday and I could choose anything and I chose Namaste Momo Corner and their delicious steamed dumplings (chicken and veggie). They never disappoint!
loved this small nook. I had steamed Momos and they were very juicy. I also got a complimentary cold water. I would order their thali next time.
I really enjoyed my visit to Namaste Momo Corner! This place is in the genre of hole-in-the-wall-with-exceptional-food that every foodie loves. The people running the restaurant were super friendly, and I decided to test my spice tolerance with samosa chaat and chicken biriyani, and they were both really flavorful and perfectly at the top of my enjoyable spice level. We also got momos, which were delicious and came with a fun dipping sauce. Overall, recommend!
If you're looking for an exceptional Nepalese dining experience, this restaurant is a must-try. It's our favorite go-to spot, and we find ourselves returning time and again for their delicious offerings. We regularly order the fried pork momo, chicken biryani (spicy), pani puri, and chatpate. The sadeko momo, chicken sekwa chow mein, and Nepali chai tea are also standout dishes. Every meal is bursting with flavor, and the friendly owner often invites us to try new creations, adding to the charm and allure of this place. Ha! It was so delicious I forgot to take a photo. If you're in the mood for authentic and flavorful Nepalese cuisine, this restaurant is not to be missed.
I have been wanting to try Nepali food, specifically momos, for quite some time now. I have heard great things about this spot, such as it serving authentic food. The place itself is small and not very impressive in terms of atmosphere, but the food is divine! I tried something quite simple: their vegetable fried momos. They have the option of meat or vegetable momos for nearly all their varieties. Everything is made fresh too, it seems. Great prices and fantastic portions (I thought it would be like an appetizer, but actually, it's a full meal). The momos themselves were perfectly cooked. Not too doughy, and nice crispy edges. Not too oily either. The stuffing is very finely chopped vegetables in almost a patty like structure. Delicious. And, the dipping sauce wasn't too spicy. It reminded me a tad of daal (it wasn't daal but was similar). All in all, I definitely recommend trying this place out! The food is delicious, the place is quaint, portions are great, and so are the prices. Try the momos!
If I could give this place 10 stars I would. The people who run this establishment are so kind, even offering drinks and snacks to the DoorDash drivers waiting. The place is small and seats about 8 and was quiet. The food is PHENOMENAL. It was rich and flavorful. We had the Samosas (2), the C-Style Momo's (pork, heat level 5), and the fried Momo's (Veg). You have an option to choose your filling (veg, chicken, or pork) I have tried many different places samosas from high end to street carts and they are by far the best! They were the size of my hand! The Momo's were the best thing I've had in a while. I would eat them everyday if I was given the opportunity. People need to know about this place because it is by far the best in Pittsburgh.
The food here is so so flavourful! Absolutely delicious! The flavors are so complex your pallet will be overwhelmed but in the best way. Our waiter was so personable and attentive. We ordered the steamed and fried momo, sorry about the picture because once we started eating, we could not stop! Do yourself a favor and check this place out! I promise you will love it!
Had a very positive first experience and plan to frequent the restaurant many more times. My young son and I came on a late September evening. There are two tables, (eight seats total) and takeout options. Momos seemed to be their staple, but we enjoyed samosas, papadum and chatpate as well. (We went with the steamed pork momos) I personally appreciate boldly flavored dishes (by typical Caucasian American standards) and the food was fantastic. My 5 1/2 year old son repeatedly said it was DELICIOUS (but I noted he did consume a mango drink and bottle of water, but I believe he has a delicate palette - nothing was "spicy" but the ingredients were new to him. Again, he said he very much enjoyed it and would go back again.) As a reasonable adult patron, it was extremely flavorful in all aspects. The owner/server was extremely kind and personable. I overheard a conversation that he and a business partner just took over the business. It's my opinion that it's solid as is and will only improve. Five stars without hesitation.
